Criminology for Beginners has been written for those who wish either to study criminology for fun or to sample a taster for further study and accreditation. It has been written in easy to follow terms and will enable the student to understand the basics behind forensics, autopsies, criminal types, processing a crime scene, profiling methods, and will examine past cases and policing methods as well as crime and punishment.
Primarily concentrating on murder cases, the student will be able to gather an understanding of how autopsies provide information and clues not just on the cause of death but also on the lifestyle of the victim and the possible identity of the perpetrator of the crime.
