- LO2 - Discuss your perception of an organ
- LO3 - Identify 6 systems of the body
- LO4 - Summarise how many kidneys are found in the body
Module 3 - The Mind-Body Connection.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

- LO1 - Evaluate the nervous system in detail and explain how it functions
- LO2 - Examine the functions of the nervous system
- LO3 - Summarise the following:
- Neurons
- Dendrites
- Axons - LO4 - Discuss the following systems:
- Autonomic nervous system
- Sympathetic nervous system
- Parasympathetic nervous system
Module 4 - The Breathing Apparatus.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

- LO1 - Analyse the mechanism which facilitates the breathing process and consider some of the disorders that can arise
- LO2 - Examine the lungs, bronchial tree and expansion process and describe their functions
- LO3 - Describe the signs and symptoms of chronic bronchitis
- LO4 - Discuss bronchiectasis showing how it is identified
Module 5 - The Digestive System.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

- LO1 - Introduce and discuss the Digestive System showing organs involved in the digestive process
- LO2 - Discuss fasting and the benefits it offers
- LO3 - Identify which parts of the body make up the digestive system
- LO4 - Evaluate the procedure involved in breaking a fast
Module 6 - Dietary Therapy.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

- LO1 - Examine Dietary Therapy and the rules regarding diet that must be observed
- LO2 - Explain the necessity of supplementing additional vitamins and minerals in a natural diet
- LO3 - Discuss the following statements:
- Why flesh eating is unnecessary and can be dangerous to health
- Effects that cholesterol have on the human system
Module 7 - Hydrotherapy.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

- LO1 - Discuss the different aspects of Hydrotherapy giving the benefits of this procedure

- Dehydration
- Rehydration - LO3 - List the unwanted properties in tap-water
