About Clinical Nutrition
Clinical nutrition is the study of food as it relates to the human body’s health and overall wellbeing. The subject focuses on the care of the body’s nutrition and metabolism, as well as the relationship between nutrition and disease. Clinical nutritionists work to evaluate their patients’ nutritional lifestyle and to advise and support them in their transition to one more balanced and tailored specifically to their needs. Clinical nutritionists most often work in a clinical setting or other health-based environment.
